Date & Time: 2nd Thursday of every month (except August) at 1:45pm for a 2pm start.
OK - so the name sounds stuffy and old fashioned - but we are not! We rarely sing hymns, or wear hats and not many of us make jam!
Galleywood W.I. is an excuse for girls (of all ages) in the village, or local area, to get together once a month and have a good time. So if you are free on the second Thursday of the month why not come along and join us?
We usually have speakers / entertainers / demonstrators on a range of topics, which include talks on historical, environmental and topical matters; make up and craft demonstrations; agreed discussions; musical entertainment.
We also organise fund raising activities to help local charities. These activities include lunches, coffee mornings, tea parties etc.
If you would like to come along to a meeting (no obligation to join), there will be a warm welcome for you.
