The centre is open and being used for special displays of local history and various events.
The Horseshoe Tea room is also now open:
Tuesday and Thursdays 11.00am - 3.30pm and Sundays 12 noon - 3.30pm (advance warning of large numbers of visitors to the tea room would be appreciated).
You can join the Friends of Galleywood Heritage Cente for just £5 and you will be able to use your membership card to benefit for the first three months from a FREE tea or coffee with every cake you buy. For more details contact Karen Dudley on 01245 474642, or better still come and see us.
The centre is on the Galleywood Common and the entrance is via the small access road next to the nursery on the left in Margaretting Road - a short way away from the Eagle pub.
